While we still don’t know whether Apple is actually releasing a touchscreen tablet, which has had techies and the rest of the world buzzing for quite some time now, Microsoft has!The Microsoft Courier is still in the late stages of development, but it’s not really called a tablet; rather, it’s a ‘booklet’. It also presents a very different user experience than what people expect of the fabled Apple tablet.
The Microsoft Courier features dual 7-inch screens which are multi-touch, meaning you can write, flick, and draw with both a stylus and your fingers. The best part though is that the hinge between the screens doubles as a nifty ‘computer pocket’—if you will—that allows the user to hold items they want to transfer from one screen to the other.

Microsoft canceled the Courier last year (Engadget – Apr 29th 2010) – or so it was reported throughout the internet. Does this mean they are going ahead with it? I sure hope they bring this to market since many of us were just dying to get our hands it.

The online reviews seemed decent and so I thought I would give it a try. This is my first tablet, and also my first Android device, and so it has taken me a little while to figure a few things out but overall I’m happy with my purchase.
